Our SEs are self directed, capable of leading technical sales activities, managing the customer technical relationship, and assuming subject matter expert responsibilities within a sales organization. • Direct and lead a team of pre and post Sales Engineers in the Western US supporting the direct sales, agents and customer support individuals. • My team’s responsibilities included engineering and designing complex IP, Collocation and CDN networks utilizing BGP routing, Flash/Windows media, VPN, VoIP, VM and other technologies. • Support the sales process by managing and presenting to customers and prospects at all management levels including IT Engineers, Technical Management and CXOs. Brought in to secure the deal on high-end technical applications.

• Sole technical support person for the Southern California sales team between 1999 and 2001.• Instrumental in the Los Angeles Data Center reaching profitability in the shortest amount of time in the company. Our market quickly became the third largest region in the country.

• Supervised a team of pre and post sales Technical Consultants that supported the largest customer base in Southern California consisting of $100 million in annual revenue.• Member of the President’s club for two years. Also selected as one of 40 top performers company-wide for the Excelerate-98 European Travel Award and as one of 50 top performers company-wide for the 1997 Alaskan Adventure.

• Senior Network Engineer responsible for the design and implementation of MCI’s domestic and international voice and data network. • Lead Engineer in the company’s largest network migration project that was part of the overall conversion of the embedded analog infrastructure to a full digital/fiber based network.

Lead an engineering team who designed and developed a production Token Ring switch that used CAD/CAM, LSI and VLSI tools. Worked with numerous vendors in evaluating and recommending the hardware components needed for the project. The developed product went into production within six months of completion on scale and on budget.
