As a LiDAR Algorithm Engineer at Valeo, I work on developing and testing innovative solutions for autonomous driving and advanced driver assistance systems. I have contributed to several topics, such as Lidar Blockage Detection, Sensor Virtualization, Phenomenological Sensor Model, and Algorithm Testing Processes. I have also applied my skills in Python, C++, and MATLAB to implement and optimize algorithms for LiDAR sensors.I have a strong academic background in Electrical and Computer Engineering, with a Master of Engineering degree from University of Ottawa, where I published a paper on a novel algorithm for DDoS Attack classification using CNNs and Decision Trees, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Ain Shams University. During my studies, I participated in several projects and competitions, such as Formula Student UK AI, RoboSub, and MATE, where I gained hands-on experience in designing, building, and programming autonomous systems. I also completed a research scholarship at University of Central Lancashire.
