Intercultural Competence, Diversity, Equity, And Inclusion Specialist
CurrentServe as an agency-wide technical expert and advisor in strengthening intercultural competence (IC) development and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) awareness and skill development, for overseas and HQ staff (including multi-lingual and multicultural teams).Design and facilitate virtual trainings and communities of practice for overseas staff (U.S. and host country national staff) to support integrating ICDEI learnings into organizational development.Consult and advise senior leadership (including Chief Diversity Officer and Regional Directors) on agency-wide DEI matters and implementation.Review public-facing and/or internal documents and provide feedback with an ICDEI lens. Curate and disseminate resources for overseas post staff on social identities, power and privilege, unconscious bias, and other critical concepts.Provide guidance around agency policy, content standards, and product development processes.Reviewed and provided recommendations to enhance new mandatory trainings by the Behavioral Health and Outreach team (related to pandemic stress, resilience skills, and coping with race-based stress).
