I'm a freelance publicity consultant working in design, craft and visual art. I've been freelance since 2005 following a hugely enjoyable time working with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society. Over the past 20 years I've delivered PR campaigns for a wide range of different festivals from science to storytelling, contemporary art to craft and lots in between.Most recently I'm working with craft, design and contemporary art organisations which include; Brompton Design District, Dundee Design Festival, Craft Scotland, Edinburgh Printmakers and Fife Contemporary.I love working with visionary creatives and the teams that support them whether they are artists, designers or makers. Whatever the project, I am passionate about amplifying the work of curators, producers, programmers and directors keen to widen access to arts and cultural experiences.Over the years I've secured media coverage in a range of titles providing a huge impact for the clients I work with whether it's been in Vogue, BBC, Elle Decoration, Financial Times, The World of Interiors, APOLLO, Art Monthly, House and Garden, Washington Post, The Times, The Scotsman, The Guardian, Crafts Magazine, Wallpaper and others. I'm happiest working on time sensitive events being solely resonsible for leading the publicity campaign whilst being a vital part of a team working together for a common goal. I'm keen to work with good people doing great work where I can use my communications and PR skills to champion for artists, designers and makers and the organisations that support them. I'm based in beautiful Edinburgh and willing to travel for projects.
