Thomas is the Republican nominee for US Congress in Virginia’s 8th District of the 2018 midterm election and is a veteran who is a commissioned officer in the Army Reserve. He is currently serving as the commander for an Army Special Operations, Psychological Operations Product Development Detachment. Thomas is also a graduate of the U.S. Army Airborne and Ranger Schools. He continues to serve our nation as a defense contractor and is responsible for leading projects and strategic initiatives. He is an honors college graduate of George Mason University and is where he also received his MBA in Leadership and Entrepreneurship at the university. Thomas earned a second master's degree from the University Of Virginia in IT Management in his continuous endeavor for self-improvement.
