As a machine learning engineer at Flora, I leveraged my expertise to develop innovative solutions that enhanced efficiency and fostered growth.Alongside my professional pursuits, I actively promoted the field of Data Science as the co-founder and head of the operations department at SPAI, an AI Singapore Student Chapter, in AY21/22. This experience allowed me to inspire and guide others in their AI and Data Science journeys.Currently, I am fulfilling my commitment to Singapore's National Service. Machine Learning Engineer InternDsta Sep 2022 - Feb 2023SingaporeThe Defence Science & Technology Agency (DSTA), is a defence organization in Singapore that provides advanced technology and engineering solutions to support the country's defence and security needs. During my internship, I interned with DSTA's Digital Hub programme center, under the AI Engineering cluster. Responsibilities:• Developed an open source MLOps model hub similar to the Huggingface Model Hub with Vue.js, FastAPIand MongoDB that makes it easier for data scientists to deploy and share their models internally• Partially automated the process of deployment of the application on an air-gap Kubernetes server though the use of Skaffold and Helm, deploying the software for use internally by two departments• Designed API endpoints to enable the automated deployment and scaling of services in a Kubernetes cluster, streamlining the process of deploying AI microservices on the cluster• Built a custom visual markup editor that allows for insertion and editing of interactive Plotly graphs, andintegration with ClearML to import existing graphs and other metadata• Architected CI workflow using Github Actions to run automated unit tests and code linting• Contributed to a separate team project where I developed microservices for a prototype real time video analytics pipeline, integrating models like YOLOv5 and ByteTrack, using PyTorch, OpenCV, Triton Inference Server and Apache Kafka.
