My role is full-stack and more, with my primary focus on:Ameliorating, Augmenting and Automating the production pipeline of educational content end-to-endBuilding and developing the UI/UX of the Examfly web-app and appEngaging in Research and Development with Generative AI across the whole stack

I have moved into the role of CTO and continue to oversee the technical development and research undertaken here and also doing hands-on development. The role has extended itself to now include much of the BusOps of the company as well as analytics, and just so I don't get lost in the numbers, I get to stay in touch with users through customer service and customer discovery for product features :]I have built language learning books selling over 30k in revenue.I have built an app with >1000 users.I have built a chrome extension with over 4k users and 5-day retention rates of 75%.Over the time here, I have led the building of:- the algorithms for the Weeve books- an automated pipeline publishing of language learning content- an app for reading weeve in 15-min short summaries of the best non-fiction novels- a web-clipper for articles for language learners- the Weeve chrome extensionIn this role, I have been fortunate to meet and be mentored by amazing people, particularly during Alsessor and the NDRC accelerators.

My primary role remains researching and developing the underlying algorithm of Diglot. Additionally, I will oversee the addition of new interns to work in R&D. I will meet and discuss language specific features for each language in which Diglot creates learning materials. In the case of Irish, I will also act as a proofer in the final stage of editing. In addition to my primary role as Head of R&D, I also take part in the day-to-day running of the business.

A major part of the work is continuing the work on the algorithm and troubleshooting any issues that arise in the copy editing. A secondary part of the works is undertaking research into the algorithm, refining the processes, and analysing on the effectiveness and optimal parameterisation of the diglot weaving, by conducting Diglot's own research across this method and other methods and for particular languages.The position is also open to partaking in other areas of the business.

Developing full-stack applications for Irish communities and undertaking research in the field of linguistics and NLP.Currently developing:- Mol an Óige (formerly Lón don Leon) which is an early-years app for teaching the phonics of Irish.

My primary tasks in this role were:Work on Irish language-learning application and associated website.Provide comprehensive documentation for application.Test the application across platforms.Debug the app for iOS and android.Develop features for the app.Develop iOS version of Abair.ie app.In addition to developing this application, my final year project was also under the ABAIR group, where I developed an AAC device for the Irish language with incorporated the curation of multiple parsers as well as TTS (text-to-speech) development and integration.

I took take part in every aspect of JoLT: from copy-editing and language specific editing (for Irish) to general administration, as well as administrating JoLT's presence on social media platforms and organising events. My primary role was the layout of volume 10 of JoLT (two issues). This was done using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Another particular task was the increasing the accessibility of the website. To this end, I completed the translation of the website into Irish (the national language of the Republic of Ireland).

My primary task in this position was reporting technology and business news and offer deep dive opinions on the direction of tech from a business perspective.

A member of a trusted community for the Irish language for technical translations as part of the Microsoft Skype | Windows | Office | Xbox Community. The scope of this project is a mixture of Software and Support content, with the daily volumes vary between 100-1000 words per day.
