I'm in charge of Product Design at Responsive Ads and also project manage the new version of the product coming out in Q4/2023. We are redesigning our tool to offer a high quality, easy to learn and use UX. The team is doing a fantastic job of reimplementing the frontend for our Designer tool, and I am working hard on pulling everything together while designing the next steps to implement.I've been working with ResponsiveAds as a freelancer since 2021, but have been working with them full time since February 2023.

We've officially launched and are available in Finnish and English! There's a ton of work to do, but I am super exited about the concept (mobile quick guides for tasks in the physical world) - check it out! In 2021 I also started working with SmartBI as a UX/UI designer in their complex B2B machine learning related software projects. I enjoy the challenge of understanding different technical environments and supporting people in their work. These solutions also often work as building blocks towards a more sustainable future, by helping to reduce waste and recover from errors in complex environments.In 2019 I worked on a project for a large European fashion company, in a hybrid UX and Service design role. The role focused on internal processes and designing the tool that goes with them. It was a great project, I enjoyed working in a company with strong employees and designing a tool to help them grow even stronger.

I lead the UX design for Comptel's Data Refinery (neé Control and Charge platform, Eventlink product). I also ramped up UX design work in the Analytics and Big Data areas, in addition to which I have been the deputy team leader for the Experience design team.I was responsible for the redesign process of a host of products belonging to the platform, beginning from analysing the main concept of the product to the actual design of the day to day user journeys. The first phase of the redesign and implementation has been carried through, and we are now looking forward to the next main release of Eventlink, and designing the releases after that.Currently I have a few designers working on Data Refinery with me, in addition to daily collaboration with the rest of the team. I also work tightly with the business requirement and technical development teams, to make sure that the products are excellent, not only from the user's point of view, but also technically implementable and matching the strategic and business needs of Comptel.We have launched our first end-to-end redesigned product release, Eventlink 7.0, last year - and so far it has been a resounding success. I expect it to continue on a highly successful path, as it combines a thoughtful and evocative UX for the end user with a powerful engine that gets the job done better than competitors.

In charge of interaction design at Comptel, renewing the UX of our products - showcasing our thought leadership in this domain with high quality UX.My responsibilities included leading the UX team in interaction design and UX design, design communication, interaction design for products and platform, etc.During this time I managed to double the size of the UX team, including hiring one of the best Finnish strategic designers to lead our design team. The Experience design team, as it came to be called, is still growing, and we have gained significant traction in the organisation, getting our voice heard far and wide.

I lead the UI design work for Comptel: building the culture and driving growth for the UX team, designing new software product user interfaces, facilitating renewal for older products, plus building and collating the platform UX guidelines.

Created designs for Contacts and Contacts Homescreen widgets, both as a team with other designers, and leading the design work for some projects. The projects varied from concepting a new application to be built from scratch to incrementally improving the product in the market (Symbian Belle Contacts).

Worked as a UX designer in Symbian Smartphones on multiple apps and widgets.

Designing the UI and user experience for local connectivity for S60 devices.

Took part in different Internet/Intranet design projects and did some software designing in addition to evaluating software design tools. One facet of my work was user interface design. Projects especially involved helping to evaluate, design and create web-based tools for the banking world (Nordea). Worked independently and was hired out to varying projects.

I worked in the division responsible for developing the electronic banking services for the bank. My work was independent and varied, ranging from translation to software testing and general office duties. Most of my job involved the Internet bank Solo and a banking service called Solo Multibank. I translated (Finnish-English, a small amount of Finnish-Swedish) and wrote help pages. I tested Solo Multibank for errors in language and in the help pages. I also reported on any other problems found in the process.
