Coder by Passion, Cricketer by heart.Welcome to my profile!I started in 2011 as a Trainee andvery recently, helped Amazon Sales team,as a Data Engineer,to secure a deal worth 50 Million USD with Peacock, by sharing data insights with them and collaborating on the Legal approvals.Currently, I am working in Amazon's Device Engagement Metrics Team. My Job is to solve critical data problems by creating and maintaining data products, that not only enable Data Scientists and business teams to easily access data, but also partner with them to help them analyze the insights created via those data products. I also participate in design discussions with Software engineers and provide inputs in the solution, so that all basic data needs are instrumented at design level itself.I like to automate and optimize wherever possible, even if it means exploring a completely new technology. Data is the new Oil and as Data Engineer our responsibility is to protect that Oil from catching fire. Therefore, I am also responsible in ensuring all data sharing mechanisms meet the Optout, Cookie and DMA Consents of the user and retentions are protected under GDPR guidelines as defined in the law. A part of my job also requires me to work with Data Scientists to help them develop Machine Learning Algorithms, that would help us place Data Quality checks and implement those models by creating data pipelines, alarms and dashboard insights.While all of this combined, sums up my job activities, I also take up the rotational Oncall activities as part of our Keeping the Lights On (KTLO) initiative.I have been blessed to be surrounded by some really talented and knowledgeable people around me all these years, from whom I have learnt a lot and therefore,make continuous efforts to pass on the knowledge to upcoming engineers in and around my team,to help them grow.Following is a sneak Peak of my skills:1.
