Droupadi Murmu, at the 68th National Film Awards. He also won Best National Documentary 2022 for ‘Admitted’ from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Gov of India. Chanakya Award 2023 by the Public Relations Council of India and Excellence in India’s First Multi-Inclusive Film by the Media Federation of India in 2024 for ‘Rabb Di Awaaz.’ His work has also earned him the IRPRA 40 Under 40 accolade three times consecutively (2021-2023) for “Best Creative Entertainment Campaigns” in India.With over a decade of filmmaking experience, Ojaswwee’s works have won over 30 awards and recognitions and have been selected for more than 100 International Film Festivals.A recent standout is the Hindi feature film ‘Rabb Di Awaaz,’ recognized as India’s first multi-inclusive film. This film addresses themes like mental health, disability, and inclusivity in mainstream Indian society. ‘Rabb Di Awaaz’ has been a trailblazer for the Inclusive Cinema Movement in India, offering free screenings and being released with Hindi audio description and Indian Sign Language.Ojaswwee’s international breakthrough came with the National Award-winning ‘Admitted,’ a documentary on transgender education and human rights in India. This film, based on the first transgender student of Panjab University, received the Special Jury Award at the 68th National Film Awards in 2020 and the Silver Conch for Best Documentary at MIFF 2022.As a partner of Pinaka Mediaworks LLP, Ojaswwee heads RFE TV Rolling Frames Entertainment Digital Distribution Network, Rolling Frames Motion Pictures, and MasterShot Pictures.
