Joel Ojeda Ramirez, M.S. Email and Phone Number
I am a first-generation immigrant from Mexico with a relentless work ethic honed through navigating predominantly white spaces as a low-income person of color. Originating from a rural town in Mexico, my journey has instilled in me a profound determination to pursue my aspirations despite challenges. My pursuit of a B.A. in Psychology stemmed from my fascination with human behavior and the need for mental health advocacy in underserved communities. However, my desire for tangible change and interest in Entrepreneurship led me to pursue a Masters of Science in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the University of San Francisco. With strong skills in public speaking, multitasking, and project management, I am recognized as a well-rounded individual with a strong work ethic, independence, passion, and flexibility. As the Founder of A.L.L.I.E.S Pro Services, I'm on a mission to empower historically underserved communities by providing Career and Personal Development opportunities. With over 6 years of experience in Career Counseling, Job Development, and Professional Development, I specialize in helping individuals find fulfilling careers. We have experience working with state funded programs and agencies like the Department of Rehabilitation and Regional Centers, as well as a previous WIOA Career Service Provider in the Bay Area.Additionally, as an Undocu-Professional and Advocate, I'm committed to promoting inclusive opportunities and entrepreneurship. Through workshops, consulting, coaching, and presentations, I work to raise awareness and break down barriers faced by our communities. My passion for equity and empowerment is deeply rooted in personal experiences, and I believe in the inherent value of every individual, regardless of their immigration status. Together, let's create a more equitable society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. When I’m not on the job, I love hiking, spending time with my dogs, spending time with my family, or staying active at the gym.
