About Liz Ojeda

I am the founder/CEO of WorkforceTAG LLC. We are a trusted advisor providing resources for workforce and grant technical assistance to insure successful outcomes for small business and non-profits who have received grant/foundation funds. WorkforceTAG also partners with community resources that will enhance and support our customers. For more than thirteen years I led efforts for a variety of workforce programs under the Denver Economic Development and Opportunity Workforce Services, including Federal project oversight, workforce center operations, and grant management coordination. I recently administered the successful completion of the Technology Employment in Colorado – Partnership (TEC-P) Project a $6.18 Million US Department of Labor H1B Ready to Work Grant. My background provides a comprehensive blend of small business skills as a business consultant and a retail store owner, the complexities of working within a global corporation, and the uniqueness of state, local, and federal government. Within my public sector experience, the requirements of knowing regulations, agency rules, local law, and stringent policy and funding requirements and balancing the needs of our customers, is a day to day requirement of the positions I have held.As a community advocate, I support local organizations and have been member and volunteer for the Mountain Plains Minority Supplier Development Council since 1999 and volunteer facilitator for local high schools and intern programs over the past decade.
