Ojong Bate is a dedicated professional with a background in community pharmacy leadership and Clinical Services Expert. She is currently a Regional Clinical Services Manager with Walmart Health and Wellness and also serves as a Sickle Cell Market Consultant for various companies. Her passion for healthcare and commitment to patient well-being drive her work. Ojong has devoted much of her career to Sickle cell disease research and advocacy, gaining valuable experience and insights. Throughout her various roles in the healthcare sector, she has maintained a patient-focused mindset, advocating for better outcomes and compassionate care. She holds a Master in Business Administration focused on Organizational Management and People Leadership from the University of Delaware Lerner Business School and a PharmD degree from tHe University of Charleston,WV. Ojong chairs the board for the Sickle Cell Reproductive Education Directive (SC RED) and is actively working to raise awareness and improve the lives of those living with Sickle cell disease affected by infertility. Beyond her professional responsibilities, she enjoys world travel, culture immersion and storytelling. Ojong is a key opinion leader in the sickle cell disease advocacy space, community pharmacy leadership space and passionate leader within her profession of pharmacy.
