• Ensure study protocol is followed and monitoring study progress to ensure that study participants’ rights are protected by the research team in reference to Good Clinical Practice guidelines.• Formulating and updating standard operating procedures and conducting staff refresher trainings on the study protocol and standard operating procedures• Monitoring and writing annual updates for institutional review boards.• Reporting all severe adverse events of project children to principal investigators and to school of medicine ethics committee (institutional review board) • Representing and reporting to Tororo community advisory board of the studies’ progress. And being the community liaison person with study principal investigators. • Writing of weekly study progress report to principal investigators • Ensuring that the organization is represented at all stakeholder meetings as a focal person• Identifying and organizing staff refresher trainings in protection of research subjects. • Recruiting and supervising all site staff. Ensuring that staff welfare is attended to and settling of disputes that arise from work place.• Responsible for formulation of monthly site budget for all activities, providing logistical support to study team and providing accountability promptly to the organization’s accountant.
