Software Engineer
CurrentTactical Data Link (TDL) is a communication system used in military operations to facilitate the exchange oftactical information between different platforms such as aircraft, ships, ground vehicles, and commandcenters. It enables real-time, secure, and reliable transmission of data according to NATO standards(STANAG 5516). The projects were developed in C++ for backend and Java for supporting front-endelements for both linux and windows.• Took role in several projects including country-wide and world-wide deployed software and systems.• Full lifecycle development and maintenance of distinct projects including:• Design and implementation of new features for most projects• Continuous refactoring over the codebase to improve quality attributes and to make the codemore clean, maintainable and less complex.• Fix and manage bugs in the software• Write and run unit tests• Perform functional and system tests• Implementation, modernization, automation and maintenance of build, deployment, installation,usage/workflow scripts and tools (scripts and tools that are utilized to setup, configure and run anyfinal product/project at the client side) and various DevOps activities for most products/projectsrunning on distinct operating systems along with performing product/project release operationswhich followed principles of CMMI Level 5.• Responsible as part of a team who defined Jenkins jobs for easing building/deployment/continuousintegration and such operations.• Responsible for understanding a legacy build system which required manual configurations andcreated operations to an automated build system.• Writing software requirements specification, design, build manual and installation guides
