• Allocation of driver orders
• Ensuring trucks arrive at loading and offloading zones on time
• Handling all driver related issues en-route while liaising with respective departments
• In conjunction with the Operations manager, working with the team to ensure customer satisfaction in terms of better and faster deliveries
• Handling driver’s road violations according to the companies’ rules and regulations
• Monitoring driver working hours, pick violations, rest times and closing on any issues arising

• Ensuring the fleet is on fleet management system and all assets are updated and outputting data
• Ensuring compliance to government regulations and company policies as regards driving standards
• Ensuring drivers are of good health, periodic medical exams are carried out and only drivers fit for work go on the road
• Compiling and tabulating violations for sanction by disciplinary committee
• Ensure drivers have required PPE and trucks have required safety equipment and in good condition

• Ensuring client needs are met as required by contract and laid down SOPs
• Serving more than 50 Transporters with over 6,000 trucks across 10 checkpoints within Kenya in various regions from Mombasa, Mount Kenya to the Malaba boarder
• Ensuring checkpoints are adequately equipped and staffed for service
• Responsible for overall standards and efficiency of the checkpoints
• Assisting with risk assessments and the guidance of staff on vital safety issues.
• Responsible for management of relationships with government liaisons
