On Design was founded by Okey Nestor, who brings more than 20 years of experience as a graphic designer and art director to his current position as the company's creative director.Prior to founding On Design, Okey was president and owner of Nestor.Stermole Visual Communications Group, a packaging and brand identity design firm, where he directed a staff of over 10 designers. From 1993 to 1996 he served for three years as president of Shankweiler Nestor Partners, a firm specializing primarily in annual report design and brand identity with a staff of five. Both firms enjoyed much growth and success under his leadership.Okey maintains a strong network in the creative community. He has taught graphic design and brand identity and given lectures to both student and professional audiences throughout his career and is a member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) New York chapter, the New York Art Directors Club (ADC), the Type Directors Club (TDC) and the Graphic Artists Guild of New York. His versatile and stylish work has been acclaimed by leading design associations and publications, including design work that was selected for the National Design Archives of the AIGA in New York City, Annual Reports100 (AR100), Best Logomarks of the Decade, Communication Arts, Graphic Design USA, Graphis Packaging, Graphis Posters, I.D. magazine, LogoLounge, and Print magazine, among others.
