Prior to launching Libera, I was at Emerging Capital Partners (formerly EMP Africa), a $1.8 billion emerging market private equity company focused on Africa. I left ECP as a Vice President and had been responsible for the origination, execution and post-investment monitoring of over $300 million of ECP's investment in sectors ranging from financial services, natural resources, oil & gas, agribusiness and telecommunications. I was also involved in securing over $1 billion of funding from family offices, DFI’s and private investors for ECP Africa Fund II and Fund III. I joined ECP after my MBA in Finance, Marketing and Entrepreneurial Management from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. I also hold a BSc in Computer Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria. I am serve on the Board of the US-Africa Chamber of Commerce and also a Director at Aldwych Capital Partners, Lofytinc International and Transworld Investment & Securities Limited.
