I am the Co-Founder and Vice President of ColorStack at Georgia Tech, a chapter of the national nonprofit that supports and empowers Black and Latinx students in computing. In this role, I have spearheaded the recruitment and retention of members, curated a portfolio of internship resources and scholarship opportunities, and fostered a supportive and nurturing community network for student success.I am also a Code2040 Fellow, a program that connects Black and Latinx students with leading tech companies and mentors and equips them with the skills and tools to advance racial equity in the innovation economy. As a Fellow, I have access to Code2040's resources, network, and events, and I am committed to using them to activate, mobilize, and inspire the equity community in tech.Additionally, I am a Computer Engineering student at Georgia Institute of Technology, where I have excelled academically and professionally. I have been a Teaching Assistant for CS1301, an introductory course on computing, and the Head of Sponsorship for RoboJackets, a student organization that promotes robotics education and outreach. I have also earned a certification in Leadership as a Practice from Global Citizen Year, and received multiple honors for my academic excellence, such as the Honor Roll, the National Honor Society, and the Best Student in Mathematics award.My goal is to use my education and experience to create innovative and inclusive solutions for the challenges facing the world today. I have developed strong skills in interviewing, job coaching, object-oriented programming, and leadership, and I am passionate about racial equity and innovation in tech. I am always eager to learn new things, collaborate with diverse teams, and make a positive impact.
