Currently I offer PTA services as an independent contractor in the assisted living and home health settings. My responsibilities include drafting my own schedule, communication with multiple supervising PTs and home health agencies, review of medical records, treatments tailored according to the established plan of care, documentation within 24 hours, and complying with all regulations and precautions.

I made complex multi-level decisions on claims for Social Security Disability and acted as a liaison between claimants and the Social Security Administration. I was responsible for reviewing, summarizing and analyzing all information pertinent to a claim. Based on this analysis, I determined the validity and severity of a disability and reported findings as a recommendation to the SSA.
