I have been teaching piano for over 20 years now and find a great enjoyment in this profession. All of my students have always been successful in the examinations and most of them have received either merit or distinction. I teach from the very beginner level, taking students through the Prep Test up to Grade 8 of ABRSM. Some of my students have special needs - Autism, Asperger Syndrome and Tourette, but still have progress in their studies. Furthermore, some of my students have won Music Scholarships. I work both from home and at Hurst Lodge School in Ascot, where I have worked since 2003.I am originally from Russia, where I received an excellent music education: first 8 years of music school (specialising in the piano) and then 4 years doing Piano Teaching Course at the Institute of Arts (in Volgograd). During this course I had to learn different subjects: piano teaching and performing, ensemble, accompaniment, composing, analyses of musical structure, history of music, history of arts, pedagogy (teaching) and children psychology and many other relevant subjects. During my early years I also took part in different competitions, both piano performing and singing.
