With a unique blend of strategic vision, deep technical expertise, and collaborative leadership, I drive innovation in the data science landscape. My experience includes founding and leading the data enablement team at the Swiss Data Science Center. This foundation has empowered me to champion initiatives focused on the full data lifecycle, leveraging the 'reuse and reinvent' approach to accelerate data-driven impact across various domains. A key example is my work in establishing the first industry-grade national data stream infrastructure in Switzerland for the Low-Value Care in Hospitalized Patients (LUCID) project. This collaborative effort with the SPHN Data Coordination Center serves as a benchmark for other National Data Streams. Additionally, I lead the development of Open Research Data (ORD) platforms such as Imaging Plaza and privacy-centric governance solutions like the Swiss Data Custodian. These initiatives set new standards for research data management, providing reusable tools to advance data-driven research nationwide. My leadership demonstrates the power of building data capabilities that adhere to FAIR principles, empowering organizations to transform research and industry practices.
