I have 9 years of experience as a Fighter Pilot in the Air Force, and after transitioning into IT, I’ve spent the last two years working in manual and automation testing. My time in the Air Force taught me leadership, discipline, and the importance of staying calm under pressure, all of which I carry with me into my IT career.In my current role, I focus mainly on manual testing and automation testing using Playwright. I’ve also taken on the role of Scrum Master periodically, helping teams stay aligned and focused on project goals. In addition, I’ve filled in as the Test Manager during times of absence, managing multiple teams and ensuring that testing activities are organized and running smoothly. These experiences have really honed my ability to communicate, coordinate, and lead in a collaborative environment.Though most of my work is hands-on with testing, I’ve also taken the time to learn other technologies on my own. I’ve completed courses in Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, Cucumber, and TestNG, and I’ve worked with Git/GitHub for version control. I’ve also gained a solid understanding of Java—from OOP and Collections to Exception Handling—and I’ve applied that knowledge in personal projects to build my skills further.I’ve also gained exposure to API testing using Postman and RestAssured, as well as Database Testing with SQL. While I’m still building my expertise in these areas, I feel comfortable applying the concepts and continue to learn by working on real-world projects.I’ve always been drawn to roles where I can collaborate with others and bring order to complex situations.
