These reports enable senior management to accurately measure the profitability of the loan portfolio as well as devise strategies to minimize losses and manage the risks inherent in the portfolio.• Provided expert insight and commentary to support the bank’s Solvency Risk department in the preparations of the annual budget for the small business loan portfolio. This ensures that the portfolio’s risk and financial budget closely tracks actual performance.• Developed risk monitoring reports for specified marketing programs such as pre-approved and pre-selected loan programs. This enables senior management measure the effectiveness of these marketing programs as well as monitor, the performance of loans booked through such programs.• Used probability of default analysis to develop a report to monitor the quality of credit applications coming through the door as well those approved and booked by the bank. This report is used to monitor originations credit quality for the whole standardized credit risk portfolio – a portfolio with over $700 ml in monthly loan production including residential mortgages, home equity lines and loans, small business loans and consumer loans. Provided monthly executive summary reports on the risk profile and the financial performance of the whole standardized credit risk portfolio – a portfolio with over $20bn in loans outstanding. This provides senior management with a high level snapshot of the risk and financial performance of the standardized credit loan portfolio.

This enabled management assess the performance of such loans and update the credit policy to minimize the incidence of such loans.

This ensured that the unit’s reports were accurate and timely.• Supported the Sales MIS and Product Management team with small business loan underwriting data. This ensured that team members received the necessary sales credit. This also helped the Product Management team track loan production and devise strategies to drive small business loan production.
