I have an unwavering passion for Football (Soccer), and I look to use the skills that I garner from the sport to better interact with my community and become the change I wish to see in the world. These skills include but are not limited to adaptability, teamwork and collaboration, goal-setting and execution, time management, prioritization, resilience, Communication and leadership, etc. I am a recent Graduate from Santa Clara University following my 2-year spell at Gettysburg College. Graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science with an Emphasis on International relations. A Native of Lagos, Nigeria, who moved to the United States to attend The Master School, a prestigious College Preparatory school in Westchester, NY. This was where I began my transition into life in the United States as a first-generation Immigrant. This was also where my interest in Political Science, and accompanying fields such as international relations, conflict resolution, International development, and International Business kickstarted Following My time at Santa Clara University, I started my career as a Professional Soccer Player with the New York Redbulls II but succumbed to a season-ending Injury. This was just a bump on the road; with a lifetime of overcoming odds and challenges, there is no quitting in my blood. I will be back out on the Field in no time at all. I am always open to meeting and talking to interesting people about life, sports, business, politics, and everything in between. While learning valuable lessons about life, and gaining insights from great minds to continue improving myself holistically and expand my horizon.I would love any opportunity, connections, and/or experiences that could help me deepen my knowledge of the field of International Relations and its related sub-fields!
