 Managing the production environment including setting, implementing and monitoring production policies, standard operating procedures and practices. Control and monitor production vacancies and costs to ensure they comply and meet annual budgeted targets Develop and maintain safe, healthy and motivated workforce through compliance to high level of hygiene and good manufacturing practices in the factory Take charge of factory cost and HS optimization through control of the production processes, raw and packaging material usages and variances Ensure all work carried out comply with the relevant codes and standards, whilst maintaining safety and reliability Deliver and improve production volumes and quality KPI’s to meet plan within budget Take charge of all production activities and ensure that products are made within specification Establish and maintain a technical thorough team that deliver all key performance indicators (% OEE, Yield, Wastage, Quality etc.) Plant utilization, factory efficiency and the production plan for improved productivity and manufacturing cost Weekly and monthly material usage variances, production summary and comparison of issue reports Establish and maintain a disciplined and motivated workforce while ensuring strict compliance to good manufacturing practices

 Supervise and drive all Quality and Food Safety Improvement initiatives and measures to achieve effective operations of all equipment that could have negative impact on products quality and food safety and ensure proper functioning of all laboratory and production equipment, water treatment plant, syrup mixing and effluent treatment plant etc. Regularly arranging training on Food Safety and HACCP for the relevant personnels. Monitor and control the quality assurance testing program for all ingredients, raw and packaging materials, process inspection, intermediate products and finished products to produce high quality products. Ensure the Housekeeping /Hygiene of infrastructure and work environment within the manufacturing and total plant operating area. Ensure implementation of Consumer complaints reduction programs.  Handle Consumer Complaints in a proactive and efficient manner that ensures the complainant’s satisfaction. Ensure effective implementation of Pest control of the total plant. Championing full implementation of Food Safety Management System in the facility. Ensure full implementation of HACCP and microbiological monitoring programs within the manufacturing function. Implement systems and procedures to ensure manufacturing operations of the factory meets production plans, product quality and cost standards.  Ensure quality orientation and identify quality improvement programmes to improve the cost effectiveness of the manufacturing process for the factory.  Monitor working conditions to ensure the continued provision of a safe and healthy working environment for the factory.  Maintain all necessary records to ensure effective monitoring of the manufacturing process in the factory. Ensure that appropriate standard operating procedures are developed and maintained for all aspects of the business.  Implement plant safety programs and ensure compliance with QAMS, HACCP and Good manufacturing practices

 Ensure that the production and quality control of all products meets the appropriate standards. Responsible for implementation and maintenance of the company quality system, reporting on the performance of the system for review and as a basis for continuous improvement. Work with Production, Marketing, Purchasing and other Technical personnel to identify potential opportunities for improving manufacturing efficiencies, maximising cost effectiveness for all raw materials and components whilst maintaining agreed product standards. Determine and enforce, through all functional departments, quality requirements in accordance with company and customer needs, based on current regulations and standards. Develop and implement improvement programme to raise performance standards. Provide leadership to the QA/QC department including operational QA support, budget and resource management.

 Managing and leading Quality Assurance and Laboratory  Designing, implementing and maintaining systems and best practices Analyzing and monitoring consumer complaint trends and investigating and responding to all customers Collaborating with the production teams to ensure the overall objectives of quality and food safety Preparing and coordinating external and internal audits Conducting and leading relevant laboratory hygiene, sanitation and supplier quality audits within the unit, identifying problem areas and draw up action lists Monitoring non conformance measurements and implementing relevant quality improvement plans to reduce complaints Ensuring the conformance of the in-process control and ensuring strict compliance to GMP, GHP, and ISO regulation Liaising with the various regulatory agent such as NAFDAC, SON on the requirements for the products registrations Involving in developing of the packaging material specification and an appropriate assessment procedures Coordinating the quality assessment of the packaging material used in the factories  Implementing the HACCP, GMP, GHP, MANCAP and ISO 9001 Coordinating and ensuring the regulatory approval for the various products Coordinating the Product development activities in juice and dairy products Coordinating and monitoring the physicochemical analysis on the raw materials and finished products in fruit juice and dairy product
