I managed over 30 staff members on a day to day basis.Leading up to the day of the events we would “create the hype”, which means to get the word out there about this “hot” night that’s coming up soon. We did this over social media and around highly populated areas.On the day of the event I would usually head down to the venue a few hours early to set up alongside some other colleagues to make sure everything was going to plan and to avoid any problems.It was my responsibility to make sure every staff member was promoting the event effectively and also selling tickets to consumers where possible. I ran this event for 2 years and in that time we averaged 500 people every week in the 800 capacity venue.
