As a clerical student at Toronto Hydro’s contact center, I was expected to deliver exceptional customer service through inbound and outbound calls, written correspondence, and digital communications, consistently exceeding customer expectations. I resolved billing issues, meter communication problems, and rate reclassifications with attention to detail, ensuring accurate customer accounts and minimizing company risk. Additionally, I promoted self-service web features like eBills and energy management tools to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction. I coordinated with internal and external stakeholders in the collections process to optimize the recovery of outstanding balances. I assessed customer issues quickly and provided practical solutions, recommending the best course of action to improve performance and customer experience. Adhering to safety regulations and company procedures, I demonstrated strong compliance and safety awareness in all tasks, while utilizing MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to manage customer interactions and maintain high standards of productivity and organization.

As a Peer Mentor, I support new students in their transition to postsecondary life by providing guidance on navigating academic programs, connecting with resources, and developing essential skills to help them succeed in their new environment. I assist students in building confidence and fostering a sense of belonging within the Seneca community, facilitate one-on-one meetings to address individual needs and answer questions about college life, and encourage peer networking and the development of professional relationships. Additionally, I promote awareness of available campus services, clubs, and extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement, demonstrating strong leadership by guiding new students through their academic and personal development journey.

As the President of the PRME Student Committee at Seneca Polytechnic, I lead a dynamic team dedicated to advancing the United Nations’ Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME). I oversee the committee’s strategic direction, ensuring the successful ideation and implementation of sustainability-focused initiatives. I lead project ideation sessions, manage cross-functional teams, and act as the primary liaison between the committee and the PRME Advisory Committee.

Achievements:- Presented the outcomes of the bee event at the PARcon 2024 (Principles for Responsible Management Education Applied Research Conference) on June 25th, 2024. I was honoured to present among distinguished professionals from Seneca College and beyond, sharing insights and results from the Newnham Bee Day event. My session, titled "Promoting Sustainability through Student Engagement: Insights from Seneca’s 'Newnham Bee Day,'" was scheduled at 12:10 PM. The presentation was well-received, resulting in heightened interest and increased sales of Seneca Honey following the session.- Successful planning and execution of a Newnham Bee Day Event at Seneca Newnham Campus: The event was a huge success with over 60 attendees, 47 commitments made by students to preserve pollinators, and over 40 jars of honey sold. The event aimed to educate students about the importance of pollinators, specifically bees. It featured hands-on activities, like a Bee The Change pledge wall where students could get closer to the cause of helping preserve the pollinators and make a personal pledge.
