Responsible for Research, Development and Innovation at Cosun Beet Company. As portfoliomanager R&D working with colleagues from production and commerce on process and product development and innovations. As program manager of several strategic programs working on maximum valorization of our sugar beets and beet sugar into biobased fuels, chemical building blocks and food specialties. Overall responsible for the innovation process from scouting and screening upto and including projects in our innovation funnel.

Managing Suiker Unie's R&D resources in close cooperation with the departments Marketing&Sales, Production and New Business. Providing support on Operation and Development and initiating and managing Innovations. Managing several R&D projects and process Innovation.Furthermore within this function I'm responsible for development of Suiker Unie's Sustainability Policy. Integrating it within the company and communicating internally and externally.

Managing the logistic department of the Sugar Factory in Dinteloord. This department is responsible for storage and transportation of the produced sugar to the customer in bulk or bags. Within this function I was also responsible for quality control of the sugar factory and was project leader for several investment projects for the sugar factory from concept-engineering untill basic engineering. Finally I gained experience with TPM as pilarleader Focused Improvement.

Managing the productportfolio of Crystal Sugar for Suiker Unie within the department Marketing & Sales. Keeping in close contact with Suiker Unie customers and sugar factories.

Trouble-shooting newly built sugar sieving station.

Design of process equipment for the oil and gas industry from first idea until start-up on location.
