As a Program Director at the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport) I am responsible for the execution of ‘the Program for Electronic Data and Information Exchange in Healthcare’ (Programma Elektronische Gegevensuitwisseling in de Zorg): https://www.gegevensuitwisselingindezorg.nl/ In the year 2021 a law requires the exchange of information between healthcare providers to take place electronically. This is an important step towards the situation where healthcare workers have the right information at the right time to know what is going on and what treatment a patient has had befor. There are thirteen medical processes in which a fully electronic data and information exchange is considered as essential. Four of them have priority to implement in the coming years.

More specific I am in charge of the merging of the Raad voor Rechtsbijstand and Juridisch Loket; the implementation of an organizational unit at the Raad voor Rechtsbijstand that is focussed at directing and improving the “chain for subsidized Legal Aid/Counseling”; Information Management and Business Intelligence (in close connection with the development of the ICT systems of the Raad voor Rechtsbijstand).Time Period: March 2016 - December 2017Raad voor Rechtsbijstand: As a Program Director I am responsible for the Program Wolfsen and Program IDEA2.The Program Wolfsen will implement the recommendations of the committee Wolfsen in the next 2-3 years to improve the system of subsidized Legal Aid. The program IDEA2 will develop and implement ICT-solutions for the Raad voor Rechtsbijstand and other organizations active in the system of subsidized Legal Aid.Time Period: March 2015 - March 2016Ministry of Justice and Security, Directoraat-generaal Rechtspleging en Rechtshandhaving (DGRR):I contributed to the development and organization of the criminal justice chain management and the development of a department (Directie Strafrechtketen) that will support the DGRR and 'chain-organizations': Police, Public Prosecutor, Courts of Justice etc.The department (Directie Strafrechtketen) will start officially on January 1, 2016. The main activity of the Unit is to improve the exchange of information and the collaboration between the chain-organizations and the Ministry of Security and Justice.

I contribute to the development and organization of the immigration chain management and the reorganization of the coordinating department.The coordinating department will start officially on January 1, 2015. This is preceded by a reorganization in which some pre-existing individual organizational units are brought together in a coordinating department.The coordinating department main activity is to management and organize the entire immigration (chain)process and to deliver the ICT, immigration intelligence and management information. The immigration (chain)process comprises eleven (chain)partners that are part of four different ministries. In addition to existing functions some new tasks are housed within the coordinating department: management and control, European immigration funds.

The program exists of (1) an IT-development for the centralized registration of Dutch Residents and non-residents in the Basic Registration of Persons (BRP); (2) the transition of the existing decentralized administrations at the 415 Municipalities into the BRP and (3) the implementation of the BRP at all Municipalities and over 600 different executing organizations (such as Social Security Bank; Tax Administration, Unemployment Offices etc). The program budget is over EUR 50 million for the period 2010-2015.
