Olaf Wilders (1958) attended the Netherlands Police Academy and holds a Master's degree in the Sociology of Work and Organization as well as a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Public Administration.Prior to joining Andersson Elffers Felix (AEF) in 1997, he was (Chief)Inspector of the Amsterdam Police, where he was active in various line and staff functions.Since 2006 Olaf Wilders represented Andersson Elffers Felix in the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. He worked and lived at Curaçao where he was a Program Manager and the Head of Business Operations at the Public Prosecutor Office from 2006-2009. In that period he was responsible for the reorganization and implementation of 13 projects concerning business-operations and ICT. Since september 2009 he was the representative of AEF Caribbean Consultancy (Andersson Elffers Felix Caribbean) in the Caribbean region (located in Curaçao) for 2 years. At that time he was involved in and supported the government of Curacao with the constitutional changeprocess (Curacao became an autonomous country on October 10th 2010).With his return to the Netherlands after five years he started as a Program Manager at the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations. In 2014 he became a Program Manager at the Ministry of Justice and Security and from 2016 (Program)director at the Dutch Legal Aid Board, Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport (4-2019 - 3-2022) and Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (11-2022 - present). Since August 2022 Olaf is the chairman of the program board Energy Performance of Buildings (EPG).From 2002-2005 he also gained first hand experience in municipal government as a city councilor (municipality Loenen aan de Vecht).Olaf is author of a book about the constitutional changeprocess in Curacao (title: 'Hij is de weg kwijt'), several articles and is the co-author of the report 'Aan Tafel!' which describes an approach to supervision arrangements in public-private relations (www.toezichtmatrix.nl).
