I supported the implementation of procurement and supply chain management in Oyo State by partnering with the Logistics Management Coordinating Unit, State Malaria Elimination Program, implementing partners and other development partners to coordinate inventory management, storage/warehousing, forecasting and quantification, distribution of health products, quality assurance and control, and data reporting for the Global Fund malaria programFew successes during my employment include:• Improved data quality evident by accurate quantification and forecasting which led to lack of wastage due to expiry or understock• Improvement in reporting rate (53.8 to 99.8%) and timeliness of reporting (from 42.3 to 99.8%) • Reactivation of dormant (supported) facilities and improvement of data visibility in the sites• Reduction of wastages through stock status tracking to identify potential write-offs and identification of channels for their mop-up. I was able to salvage 12,850 test kits of RDT worth 2441.5 USD through redistribution and allocation. • Improved pharmaceutical care at supported health facilities through rational dispensing and proper counselling.• Integration of LMIS and HMIS data reports at the LG and facility level to ensure correlation between service and logistics data.• capacity building of health workers in the state
