With an impressive experience spanning two decades in the fields of international customers’ relations and business development, Ola Khaled is currently holding the position of International Business Development Senior Manager at Telecom Egypt.Prior to joining the International Sector at Telecom Egypt, Ms. Khaled worked at Al-Ahram Multimedia Production and Al-Ahram Electronics Industries Company. Her career kicked off at Telecom Egypt in 2005, where she delved deep into the subsea cable industry. Ola spearheaded the relations with global carriers and international customers by establishing the International Cables Investment and Agreements Department in 2010 and the International Marketing Department in 2011. Since 2016, she laid the foundations of the International Business Development Department, where she develops and manages marketing assets, expands the brand reach, and identifies and develops business opportunities. Furthermore, she oversees partners-relations, recommends new solutions and is actively involved in industry organizations such as SubOptic and ICPC. Raising awareness on the importance of the subsea industry at large and the key role Telecom Egypt plays in it, Ola has developed several papers, articles and presentations over the past years on several occasions, including an overview of the subsea industry and its importance to the world economy at ITS Aswan in 2019, Egypt’s Commitment for Colossal Infrastructure and Regulations Refurbishment at SubOptic 2019, and introduction to “ICE”, the shortest and most secure crossing link between the Red Sea and the Mediterranean, at SubOptic 2023. Additionally in 2023, Ms. Khaled organized the first Egypt Suboptic Symposium, powered by Telecom Egypt to inspire, raise awareness, and attract young enthusiastic students to the industry.Ola holds a Professional Masters in Telecommunications Engineering at Cairo University, an eMBA degree from Nile University in collaboration with IESE business school, and a BSc in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.
