As Technical Assistant to Honourable Minister on Humanitarian Affairs, responsible for supporting the development and implementation of strategies for delivering the mandate of the Ministry, including humanitarian affairs policy formulation, effective coordination of national and international humanitarian interventions, strategic disaster mitigation, preparedness and response, and formulation and implementation of equity-focused social inclusion and protection programmes in Nigeria. Coordinated strategic reviews and policy write-ups for the Minister, and supported the Ministry-led response to the Covid-19 crisis through the Zero Hunger Initiative focused on eliminating hunger, achieving food security, improving nutrition and promoting sustainable agriculture by 2030 in conjunction with the World Food Programme.Key Highlights:• Member - Ministry-led Covid -19 Technical Working Group, the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, the Economic Sustainability Committee and the National Food Security Council.• Member - Covid 19 Rapid Response Register Project Management Unit. This unit provided technical guidance and strategic support to the Honorable Minister in project planning, coordination, monitoring and management ensuring synergy for better optimization of results and promoting functional linkages between key Ministries, Departments and Agencies. Established the Grooming Enterprise Leaders (GEL) Programme Management Office (PMO) including the identification, shortlisting and onboarding of Small and Growing Businesses (SGBs) for the GEL programme for Kwara State. Conducted a situation analysis and action planning from baseline information captured and developed a structured intervention plan for supporting selected SGBs. Provide training for the final selected SGBs in conjunction with the Entrepreneurship Development Centre. Spearheaded the Business Development Services (BDS) for the GEL (Kwara) Programme to promote the growth of the final selected SGBs by offering targeted consulting services which complemented the capital investments offered by the Bank of Industry (BOI).
