Responsibilities:• Provide support for transmission equipment operations and maintenance.• Maintenance on Huawei BTS 3900• Configuring of UMPT, WMPT and GTMU, on Huawei BTS, for re-homing or maintenances• Accuracy on Diesel level of all sites in my care• Good understanding of the functions of Emerson Rectifiers, Huawei Rectifiers and their modules• Regular log on to Huawei RTN for Microwave link maintenances• Handling and troubleshooting on Huawei RRU and MRFU with good knowledge.• Provide solutions to repetitive transmission network faults affecting network quality and availability.• Analysis of alarm log files on Microwave radios and provision of solution to transmission problems.• Troubleshooting and resolution of, VSWR alarms and other faulty alarms BTS• Responding timely to trouble tickets with deep consciousness of MTTR impact on sites• General Preventive/Corrective maintenance on BTS and Transmission Radio systems• Ensuring maintenance of transmission equipment, inclusive of performance monitoring• Acceptance Test on Field, for all related newly Installed Equipment for 2G, 3G and LTE• Provide daily/timely report of Root cause for outages (total or partial) for management use.
