I have more than 10 years of experience in helping to identify the value of research and innovation through branding, design, video and community building ✨Now I'm serving as the Impact coordinator for Biodesign Finland, a Need-based MedTech Innovation & Entrepreneurship programme and as the CEO of Northbay, an Innovation and Marketing Agency for research based startups, institutions and ecosystems 📈I'm also a Co-Founder of the Health Design Conference together with Saara Hassinen the CEO at Healthtech Finland. Health Design is a yearly multidisciplinary event that has focused on the application of design thinking and design practice in the healthcare sector since 2017 🖋️At Health Design we also organise the Research to Innovation Startup pitching competition, one of the biggest health tech competitions in Finland, that has awarded altogether 90 000€ to new innovative companies with R&D grants from Instrumentarium Science Foundation🔬Together with the jury I have had the privilege to pre review and analyse more than 70 healthtech startup applicants, representing some of the most promising health innovators in Finland. This has given him an unique understanding of the Finnish startup landscape 🧐I don't see a clear separation between work and my personal projects. It’s all about making a positive impact locally and globally 🌍I'm excited to work with idea owners, researchers, innovators and investors.
