I don’t try to control everything. I rather do my best to communicate a vision; let people try to figure out how they are going to get there on their own. I continually remind myself that my time is no longer solely mine; my job is not to protect it, but rather to give it away to those under my care. Several times a day, ask myself, “How should I be investing my time to help my team achieve their goals?” It’s a necessity required to succeed. -
