I am a Medical Doctor and community physician with over 18 years of expertise in research, health systems strengthening, primary health care, community health, disease prevention and control, vaccination, workforce development, capacity building, disease surveillance, outbreak response, and medical education. My academic background includes an MSc in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics, an MBA, a Master of Public Health (Field Epidemiology Practice), an MSc in Global Health Policy and Management, and a Ph.D. in Public Health.I have received numerous awards and certifications both in Nigeria and internationally. Notably, I won the National Youth Service Corps honors award in Nigeria. I was also the top fellowship candidate in Community Health at the West African College of Physicians and named the best researcher of the year in 2020 by the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, University College Hospital, Ibadan.I have led multi-country projects across all West African Member States, showcasing my ability to build partnerships and collaborate with various stakeholders, including Ministries of Health, government officials, implementing partners, and donors. My expertise covers HIV/AIDS, TB, maternal and child health, and malaria.
