As an Agile Coach, I'm responsible for coaching both Engineering and Product organizations, driving business agility with a focus on improving flow at multiple levels. I'm leading process improvements to address challenges within the Product Development organization and outside. I facilitate cross-functional collaboration between product areas and the broader organization. I delivered tailored training, tools, agile coaching to teams and individuals, while developing new teams and product areas in agile principles, and processes. I'm reporting directly to the VP of Excellence, supporting teams in both offline and online environments across diverse time zones and cultures. A few specific initiatives I participated in:- setting up Agile Coaching domain at Simcorp (newly created position and unit)- helping Engineering Managers understand their role and accompanying their journey of what that role means at SimCorp (role created October 2023)- helping transform Product Development from output focused to outcome focused organization, focusing on different elements of discovery process (Engineering working closely with customers, running experiments as part of discovery, and collaborating with Product in shaping the outcomes to be achieved)

As a Lead Scrum Master, I worked with one Product Area (comprising 3-4 teams) to align the Product and Engineering departments. I facilitated Scrum events for teams as needed, supporting them in becoming more productive and self-organized. I facilitated product planning in a scaled, empirical environment and supported other Product Areas by coaching leadership teams in agile methodologies. This included conducting health checks for engineering teams and formulating improvement experiments and initiatives.Additionally, I contributed to knowledge-sharing by organizing practical dojos, community of practice meetings, and training sessions on topics such as estimation, flow principles, and advanced Scrum and Kanban techniques. I also organized full-day events under the SimCorp Agile meetup, hosting both internal and external participants, with guest in-person speakers like Dave Snowden, or Craig Larman.

What started as a few ideas about sharing knowledge through useful templates to improve teamwork, clarify complex concepts, and facilitate workshops quickly evolved into a broader exploration of visual thinking, drawing, and building - all while staying grounded in Agile Software Product Development. This initiative, originally co-created, continues to thrive in Ireland, carried forward by co-founder Francesco, and remains focused on using visual tools to make collaboration more effective.I focused on organizing original projects, but also hosted external speakers, like Roman Pichler, Jimmy Janlén, and Geoff Watts.
