After an enjoyable 12 years milking cows the need to earn a living wage forced me into the Funds Industry. I must have been born under a lucky star because I loved farming and I love being involved in Funds! I spent 15 years working my way through every job in fund administration. It wasn't all glamour, I can tell you. Then I got a job that was made in heaven. I was paid to go out into the world and speak to the high and mighty of the funds industry. What fun and all on expenses. It is now time to give something back and I devote much of my time to promoting the benefits of Guernsey PLC. The rest of my time is split between being a damned good non-exec and driving old tractors around my fields.Specialties: Problem solving, marketing, sales, business development, effective chairman, Director of investment funds, Low Priced!Described as a "Titan" and as having "much bottom" by the Apprentice's Nick Hewer.
