My career has focused on the generation and exploitation of new knowledge; i.e. bringing new knowledge into the operations of an organisation in areas where it made sense to rethink, extend and leverage existing processes and routines. I have 25 years’ experience in executing multi-disciplinary change and development processes, working with products and processes in the broadest sense and managing organizations and organizational routines, especially within the process industry.KEY SKILLS• Management of multidisciplinary product development, including management of industry/university collaboration.• Establishment and management of partnerships between customers, suppliers and other stakeholders.• Technical management of process industry.• Implementation of process from laboratory to full-scale production.• Employment, education and training of employees from unskilled to Ph.D. level.• Management of regulatory affairs under Danish and EU environmental, chemicals and biocide directives.• Supercritical process technology from test/feasibility to full-scale implementation.My professional interests are primarily the management of specialists and development teams, products and processes in the broadest sense as well as of organizations and organizational routines.I have been the driving force in the implementation of new technologies and processes, including the establishment of centres of excellence and scale-up of processes from concept to laboratory to full-scale production. For example I have been technical responsible for the establishment of a new production company, including necessary authority approvals, the establishment of technical/administrative routines and not least the recruitment and training of staff.
