Senior ConsultantAvocado Consulting Dec 2015 - Apr 2017Sydney, New South Wales, AuIn the industry, Avocado is known for delivering on what we promise. Our clients know they can entrust even the most complex and challenging projects to us, and we’ll deliver. There are a number of reasons behind this. First of all, we stand apart for our willingness to ‘have skin in the game’. By this we mean we are just as motivated as you to protect your ‘go live’ date – and you will not find another team as committed and driven to see you achieve it.We also appoint a Practice Manager to your project at our expense. Typically they are an expert in the area of business that’s relevant to your project, and they also possess strong technical skills. This means they ‘speak your language’ and can understand your exact requirements. They can also foresee problems so you can minimise or avoid them. With our origins in testing, we’re highly capable in predicting obstacles and identifying the most effective pathways to create certainty in your project delivery. We know how to work with challenging stakeholders and adjust to the changing fortunes of projects, maintaining a focus on meeting critical milestones to ensure delivery on time. -
Senior ConsultantCevo Australia Jul 2014 - Dec 2015Melbourne, Vic, AuEstablished in 2003 and headquartered in Sydney, Australia, Cevo began as a system integrator offering data centre and infrastructure solutions to corporate Sydney. Cevo strongly believed, as we continue to, in open source solutions, and for that reason, Red Hat was chosen as a strategic partner to deliver organisations cost effective infrastructure.Back in 2004, this was a really bold move, as the world was Unix dominated, and Linux was for geeks and just started to get some traction in the corporate world. In the next 8 years, Cevo grew steadily to become a trusted brand to deliver high quality infrastructure solutions and services, mainly around HP and IBM, to medium sized and large organisations Australia wide.In 2011, Cevo made the conscious decision to heavily invest in “next generation technology” to deliver agile, flexible and cost-effective solutions and services. As a result of the growing need for flexible and cost effective on-demand services, and the arrival of cloud and automation vendors such as AWS and Puppet, we set out a new vision to become the leading provider of cloud solutions and services in the Asia-Pacific region. In the next 3 years, Cevo forged partnerships with leading disruptive technology vendors such as AWS, Puppet Labs, Splunk, New Relic and ScienceLogic, which enabled the company to deliver on the promise to provide flexible and cost effective infrastructure solutions. At the same time, we built a strong consulting arm to assist organisations to design and deploy next generation infrastructure and cloud solutions. In 2015, Kloud Solutions, Australia’s fastest growing cloud services company, acquired Cevo, to expand its the growth in the DevOps and cloud automation space. -
