In 2017 I created a new Machine Learning department to help my company leverage emerging AI technology. Over the course of 3 years I hand picked 15 exceptional ML developers and researchers. The department is split into small teams of 2-5 people who work on independent projects.We implemented and shipped the following products:* Multivendor biometrics platform that provides easy access to face recognition and voice verification technologies; digitises data from various types of ID; provides centralised secure storage for clients' biometrics data. This platform is integrated into numerous products and services at MTS.* Mobile network fraud detection platform that analyzes raw data from mobile networks and helps recognize and prevent fraudulent activity on the network.* News media monitoring solution to help legal department monitor news for copyright or other infringements. * Internal helpdesk chatbot that helps more than 70 000 company's employees solve most of their everyday problems.We also launched the following pilot projects:* Retail store analytics where we use an ensemble of neural networks to verify the correct goods placement and validity of advertising materials posted at the store.* Russian Passport verification, when scanned in UV light.And on top of all that we are developing an in-depth course in Machine Learning and Data Science with more than 70 videos and our own JupyterHub with graded homework. We teach this course to an internal audience and plan to make it public.

In 2016-2017 I led several cross-functional teams of developers, testers and analysts who worked together to deliver new digital products to our key customer. I worked with business owners, analyzed requirements and implemented different parts of the system. My job also included breaking the requirements into user stories, planning the sprints and managing the backlog.In 2015-2016 with a team of developers and infrastructure engineers I implemented Continuous Delivery process for company’s flagship product. I created a custom testing framework which me and my teammates then used to write more than 3000 automated integration tests. These tests run every day as part of Continuous Delivery pipeline. Since the start of the project we reduced release delivery times from 10 to 3 months and eliminated 60% of bugs that made it to production system.In 2013-2014 as part of the company’s strategy to move beyond telecommunication products, I implemented a key system in a pilot project for Russian Police Department. My job was to analyze main operational processes, design parts of product architecture and write the actual code with my teammates. The pilot was successfully delivered and tested in the field.In 2012-2013 designed and implemented various parts of company’s flagship product. The product is a combination of high-load business process execution engine and CRM / Billing solutions. The result of my work is being used at largest Russian telecom provider — MTS, where it processes millions of business operations per day.In 2010 - 2012 supported and improved a key part of CRM system. Initiated and successfully executed global system refactoring, reducing the number of bugs and time spent supporting and delivering the system.

Developed parts of global distribution system for one of the largest Russian travel agencies. I implemented new features as well as redesigned and simplified various parts of the system.
