● Hello! My name is Oleg Ushakov!● I have been doing quality control and quality assurance for more than 10 years. The software has to do what it is supposed to do and not do what it is not supposed to do to be useful. However, there are always bugs in new and complex systems. We just have to know how and where to find them. ● Part of my experience is related to the implementation of international quality systems in the enterprise, such as ISO 9001. I developed and implemented international quality standards at the enterprise, which allowed me to pass an international audit and receive a certificate of conformity. The introduction of quality standards allowed us to reduce the number of defects in production by more than 60% within 3 years, increase productivity from 59% to 81%, and we were also able to convert most of the workflow into electronic form.● Presently, I'm fascinated by the world of software testing. During the CRM and ERP system implementation, I gained solid experience in developing and implementing quality assurance processes, procedures, and documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports. I got acquainted with Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Postman, and Cypress. For my current project, I developed a framework based on JavaScript, Postman, and Cypress. I focus on writing and documenting tests. The percentage of coverage by automated smoke and regression tests became 80%. My typical working day: I start to work 20 minutes before starting the working day, go through new emails, prepare the environment, and plan my tasks for the day. Usually, at the beginning of the day, we have several meetings with the QA and the development team.
