I have always played for the field hockey section of FCBarcelona. I started when I was 8 and followed all the steps up to become the captain of the first squad, in which I played since 2006 in the Honour Spanish Division (top two national leagues) until June 2019. I have also played for Sydney UTS in indoor during a short 8 month stay in Australia in 2004 and for Boston MIT Minutemen during a short 6 month stay in the US.

I managed and set up the teaching standards of the school of field hockey at FCB by assuming several duties: - Setting up a database of exercises, online material and player profiles - Organizing and performing speciffic technification clinics for the different teams of the club - Organizing and imparting technification seminars for the coaches

Apart from my duties as PhD researcher, I also performed scientific consultancy on punctual occasions and events.I have worked on science diffusion projects together with other researchers and an artist to approach complexity science to the citizenship. More details can be found in http://www.bee-path.net/.My duties beside the scientific work (data analysis and modelling) were related with the design and implementation of two experiments based on citizen participation. I worked at the department of fundamental physics, within the Complexity Lab Barcelona (ClabB) research group (Complex Systems group) under the tutelage of Dr. Albert Diaz-Guilera developing my PhD in complex human mobility.Together with my research duties I also acted as referee for the submitted publications to several international journals (Physical Review E, PloS ONE, Scientific Reports) and teach "Calculus" and Computational Physics to Electrical Engineering and Physics students at our faculty.

I did a research stay at the SENSEable city lab in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology which lasted for 6 months. During this time I worked on applying theoretical aspects of complex networks to the analysis of urban mobility. I proposed models for mobility and validated them using big data from different sources. Specifically, I developed a theoretical approach to model and predict the efficiency of Taxi-sharing systems that later was validated with real data.

I have performed several roles as coach in the Field Hockey school of FCBarcelona both as second and first coach. Feats:- 2008/09 :Indoor champion U-16 of Catalonia, runners-up in both Catalonia and Spanish outdoor hockey championships U-16.- 2006/07: Classified forth in Spanish Championship U-16.- Several of my pupils were selected as international spanish players U-14, U-16 and U-18.
