Dear Sir/MadamMy name is Oleh Bondar. Overall, I have worked in the maritime industry for over 17 years, 6 years as a Chief Officer on Heavy Lift ad General Cargo vessels. The scope of my seagoing experience includes such vessel types as General Cargo, Timber Carrier, Container, Heavy Lift and Tugboat. The fleet, I served on, was managed mainly by German and Dutch Shipping Companies. Through my career, I have gained a good set of professional skills and experience in International shipping, draught survey, handling/securing/ transportation project and heavy lift cargo, preparation stowage plans, ship maintenance, ballasting operations, paperwork, crew emergency training etc. Furthermore, I have sailed worldwide and have got a versatile navigation experience.On top of that, I have a solid academic background: Kherson Maritime College 2003-2006 Kyiv State Maritime Academy 2012-2017.Aside from my technical competencies, I am a strong leader with good interpersonal skills and wide multicultural seagoing experience. I have a good command of the English language, which makes me naturally adapted to work within an international crew. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with German, Dutch, Polish, Filipino, and Myanmar crew members. I hold a valid US visa, Biometric passport. In 2022, was passed the heavy lift course in SIMAC (Swendborg International Maritime Academy) and received a certificate.I am familiar with Macs3 and Locopias stability programs, AutoCad2020, Lashcon, Visio, Microsoft Office/Excel programs. During June-July 2023 worked as a Port Manager / Port Captain on discharging from the vessel, transportation to storage area and preparing for transportation to installation area wind mill components, such as towers, hubs, nacelles, blades, drive trains etc. Also worked as cargo surveyor during discharging wind mill components. From October 2023 till now , I have worked as a load master / port captain for Peters and May Company.Able to travel and work outside regular business hours, including weekends, as required.
