A Non Executive Director, Member & Committee Chair, and Executive Director with over twenty years board level experience across the commercial sector with particular experience in the agriculture and commodities industries. At board level some highlights include: current Non Executive Director with Grain Trade Australia, Chair of the Information Technology Advisory Committee and a Member of the Member, Audit, Finance and Remuneration Committees contributing to strategic IT development and corporate governance and a Non Executive Director with Barley Australia providing leadership across the industry. In an executive capacity as the Founder and Executive Director of IKON Commodities I focus on board advisory, risk management, corporate strategy, strategic investment, system and process improvement. I also work closely with soft commodities clients to design strategies to increase profitability and operational efficiency. I am also an Arbitrator with Grain Trade Australia mediating disputes between market participants. Earlier, as the Senior Manager of International Risk Advisory with International FC Stone, I developed the Australian market for a commercial risk management program to manage and reduce corporate risk. Prior to this II managed all aspect of the GrainCorp pool business including presenting the offering to the board for approval, and successfully secured a $500 million funding. Finally, I have a Master of Business Administration, a Master of Applied Finance and have completed the AICD’sf Company Directors Course.
