As a software developer at a logistics company, I led the development of a complex system from scratch. My responsibilities included managing the development process of web servers and mobile Android/iOS applications, as well as leading several development teams towards company goals.I was committed to staff motivation and ensuring engagement of team members by carrying out regular performance reviews of individual team members and teams as units. I also monitored and provided regular reports on teams' progress, performance, and other requirements necessary for operational leadership.In addition, I delegated tasks and decisions to relevant team members and ensured they were organized to complete them to relevant standards. I maintained productive relationships and resolved conflict situations within teams, collaborated with peers and other departments to achieve company goals, and recommended modern technology stacks to meet those goals and help engineering teams migrate towards their use.I collaborated with the customer's operations and technology leadership on the future analytic goals of the organization, developed scalable, highly available, and reliable Laravel (PHP) based applications, and provided hands-on technical leadership, as well as participated in collaboration with architects and software engineering resources in designing and implementing integrated enterprise solutions.I adopted continuous integration and continuous delivery practices, performed performance and scalability analysis, and experimented with available tools and advised on new tools to determine an optimal solution for the business problems. I also proactively identified process inefficiencies and suggested solutions, mentored other teammates, evaluated candidates against client requirements through company screening and interviewing process, selected individuals for the company, and onboarded new employees.
