Ukraine Women in Agriculture Start-up Initiative (WASI) project used a one-off smart subsidy to help engage women farmers in horticulture – focally in berry production.There was provided a financial contribution to discount planting materials for start-up or expanding small agricultural activities in South East Ukraine, and facilitated relevant business and agronomy training for grantees.
