My background includes 15+ years of expert colour correction and retouching in publishing books and periodicals. I work with all kinds of analogue and digital images in the fields of lifestyle, beauty, portrait, travel-landscape, food and still-life photography providing artistic and technical photo manipulations to make each image look good and the best way possible on screen and when printed.On the tech front, I am an expert in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, CaptureOne, film scanning and film stock imitation. I have many years of experience working with publishing houses around the world (EU, UK, Ukraine, Russia, Japan) and an excellent understanding of the regional specifics of colour profiling production of printed media. For me, it all started with the processing of other people's images, and as a result, photography rapidly entered my life. I am a certified commercial photographer and have been focused on shooting and editing business portraits for several professional magazines.I've also been into video filming ever since cameras have been able to record HD video. I focused on the production of educational content in the field of corporate, food and beverage, and lifestyle, creating hundreds of videos where experts share their skills and knowledge with the audience. As a videomaker, I often organised small teams of cameramen and technicians for broadcasts and multi-cam event recordings. I shoot on all kinds of prosumer cameras (camcorders, DSLRs and mirrorless, action cameras and consumer drones) and edit video and sound using Adobe Premiere and Audition, grading the footage in Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve. I speak the same language as the designers, photographers, art directors and print managers. My background also includes teaching and mentoring colleagues and students (Moscow Academy of photography and the Rodchenko Moscow school of photography and multimedia). Also at different times, I managed to work as a photographer's assistant in studio lighting and digital imaging technician in commercial photoshoots.
