•Post Fixing, ensure that all obligations arising from the contract and charter party are carried out, and that any necessary requirements are complied with•Consistent monitoring of all operations correspondence from counterparties / Brokers / Owners to ensure quick and efficient communication flow and minimising / expediting information requests such as stowage plans / intake requests / eta / slow-down / speedup.•Active involvement with operational issues and problems (such as off spec / disagreements with stowage plans / contamination etc) offering expertise advise mainly to counterparties on cargo side.•Follow up of all verifications of freight invoices / additional alaims and all demurrages claims presented – offering opinions, verifications and / or confirmation to charterers/owners claims.•Daily reporting on all fixed-in vessels to be sent out every day to counterparties•Weekly updates to counterparties on outstanding claims / demurrages.•Ensuring correct procedures on Bill of Lading, Cert of Origins, Quality, Quantity etc and LOIs•Operations dealing with voyage instructions, planning, fixtures, appointing and communicating with Agents, Brokers, Charterers.•Interpretation and knowledge of different CPs.•Ensuring correct procedures on Bill of Lading and LOIs•Bunker consumptions and monitoring of Ships data/voyage and consumptions on a daily basisSupervision of Technical Manager;•Maintenance & Procurement•Technical Operations & Crew Changes•Budget, OPEX and Cost Control•Technical Ship Managers Audit•Dry Docks

Tanker Voyage Operations:-1- Is in charge of fleet of vessels and involved with tasks such as: post fixture, bunker intakes, agency appointments, vessel performance follow up, issuing voyage orders to master, tank cleaning requirements, providing LOI and cost control.4- Coordinate shipping requirements under Contracts of Affreightment, Time Charter Parties and spot fixtures.5- Identify commercial opportunities and liaise with internal and external stakeholders at different levels6- Is engaged into shipping sustainability, new technology projects and contribute to company’s shipping long-term strategy7- Sail on board chartered vessels when need be as charterers’ representative.Port Agency Operations:-1- Is in charge of company's in-house port agency department ensuring vessel port call planning, coordination and cargo operations supervision in Douala seaport and Limboh terminal-SO.NA.RA.2- Ensure outstanding port agency services are rendered to all customers, ensuring operational and financial KPI’s are met or exceeded.3- Board vessels in port as/when business needs dictate.4- Prepare proforma port and husbandry costs and request pre-funding from customer as required5- Manage the booking of port services and the pre-arrival documentation process between vessel, port/terminal and government authorities6- Keep customer and all stakeholders updated with berthing and sailing prospects and provide real time progress reports when vessels are in port and working cargo7- Prepare cargo and customs documentation as required8- Coordinate husbandry services for vessel, including but not limited to crew changes, technicians and ship visitors, spares, provisions, Cash to Master, bunkers, fresh water and the off-load of garbage.

Setup, maintained and managed all department/fleet operational records, files and database.Negotiated claims and responded promptly and effectively to these claims.Planned Ship-to-Ship operations at SO.NA.RA. Limboh terminal anchorage and boarded vessel to coordinate operation and supply of equipment.Checked load and discharge ports planning and discussed with Manager on compliance with Load/Discharge ports requirements and monitored hold cleanliness requirements.Rendered husbandry services to vessel such as crew change, cash to master, forwarding of documents, forwarding of spares, shore passes etc. Handled vessels' arrival and departure formalities such as inward and outward clearance, immigration clearance and PSC clearance.Boarded vessel while alongside, monitored and updated stakeholders on vessels' daily activities.Prepared operations documents such as Time Sheet and Cargo Manifest.
